The NDA is down. The system specs are revealed. Beta reviews are coming out. Video are published.
Darkfall is my ideal game on so many levels. Unfortunately, polish just doesn't seem to be on its feature list. Everything I've seen and read since the NDA went down re-affirms my intention to wait a month or two before giving this game a shot.
I could barely handle WoW, WAR, SWG or any other MMORPG at launch. I would probably bite through my tongue at the state this game will release in. I am holding out hope though. I simply love the concept of a skill-based open PvP sandbox game with full corpse-loot. I guess I'm just weird that way. Attribute it to being raised on a hardcore PvP MUD from 1996-2003.
The thing I am most worried about is that Mythic is way more communicative and responsive than most developers and I still consider WAR to be in a very bad place (you don't want to get me started do you?). My first impressions of Adventurine are not nearly as good.
